True repentance as a change of heart and mind should really effect and affect a great number of things. If repentance is total and true, you could expect to see things change in behavior and feelings. It is what comes with a complete change of heart and mind. When I have had a true and total change, I see differently.
I can pray differently and think differently about some of the deepest things, like death, life, and purpose. I look at minimal and mundane things very differently as well. I see the things I read and the conversations I have very differently. I look up to the sky and waters differently if I have had a true and total change of heart and mind.
The call of Jesus to "repent and believe" begins to be more tangible and understood when I see the difference in a true and total change of heart and mind.
