My life is full of a great number of gifts, but they are all and every one of them a bonus on top of knowing You.
You are my God and closeness to You is my ultimate good. I seek You because I want to find You...not your benefits or your blessings. I seek You because I desire You and closeness TO You.
I realize You are not to be sought after for the things You will give me. You are the ends I desire. I realize You are not in the business of giving me the things that I would eventually desire more than You. Every gift I do have in life is grace...it is bonus.
I delight my heart in being near to You. Make me your love and draw near to me. I am going to draw near to You, because nearness and affection to You alone is my only goal.
