This year, my New Year's resolution is pretty simple, and yet it is going to be difficult. It is one I challenge anyone to join me in for 2016...if you are daring enough. Let me know if you wish to join me, and I would love to have the accountability I also offer to you. Here is my sole resolution:
IN 2016 I WANT MY PRAYERS TO OUTNUMBER MY COMPLAINTS.
That's it! Simple right? In 2016, I want to not complain about anything I have not prayed for more. If I have not prayed more, then I choose not to complain about it. This includes (but is not limited to):
- my circumstances
- my finances
- my family, my parenting, my marriage
- my President
- my country
- my government
- my world
- my job (or lack thereof)
- my kids
- my dreams, goals, and their fulfillment
- my health
- my prayer life
- my relationship with God
In 2016, I want to pray more than I complain.
