  1. I have always loved C.S. Lewis’ quote about humility: “Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.”

It is a reminder that humility is not about self-defeat, low self-esteem, or tearing yourself down. It is about considering others more important than yourself.

  2. “Agape doesn’t love somebody because they’re worthy. Agape makes them worthy by the strength and power of its love. Agape doesn’t love somebody because they’re beautiful. Agape loves in such a way that it makes them beautiful.” Rob Bell Sex God. I guess…what I was taught about agape love was Jesus. That he never put himself before others showing us what agape love and humility is suppose to be like…so I guess to tie this quote in, in humility we love someone because God made them and we in humility are suppose to care for those who are our neighbors (which is everyone that God has created) by giving out agape love. Hope that makes sense

    • I like that a lot…I wondered where you were going when you kept talking about agape. I was like “the word was ‘humility’ not ‘love’”, but then I realized exactly where you were going. I like it a lot. Thanks for writing something friend. I was beginning to wonder if this whole “write my blog week” was a good idea.

      • Yeah I’ve learned in my life that one can not exist without the other. You can’t serve someone in humility without love that is willing to sacrifice, it’s like they are married. And you’re welcome PC :) Hopefully someone else will mosey on over here and leave you a few words :)
