My Most Favorite Music Ever

High Fidelity ruined me forever. I have an addiction for lists. After being inspired by a friend of mine and her recent post, I had to think about this one.

I too go through phases, and I am always trying  out new music. So this is not too easy to list, but there are some artists who will never be far away from my heart. They will always keep getting play time no matter how many new artists I come across. This is that list…

Counting Crows
Pedro the Lion
The Glorious Unseen
Mewithoutyou
Ben Harper
William Fitzsimmons
City & Colour
Mumford&Sons

Who are the artists you simply will not ever get over?

  1. Top 5 Never Get Old Bands

    1. The Get Up Kids

    2. MewithoutYou

    3. Minus The Bear

    4. Ozma

    5. Saves The Day(But only the original band, before everyone bu Chris left)

  2. I’ve been thinking about my list ever since you posted this the other night. Though I love me some indie rock/folk, I can’t say I would love my “now playing” bands forever. So here’s my I’m-pretty-sure-I’ll-love-them-forever list:

    1. The Beatles
    2. Ray Charles
    3. Ozomatli
    4. Bob Marley
    5. Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole
    6. Weird Al Yankovic
    7. Stevie Wonder
    8. Otis Redding

Plus Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, and Flogging Molly. Gosh, this is hard. We should seriously do this by genre.

PS I wanted to add Radiohead and U2 since I heard you LOVE them. ;-)

    • I wondered whether you insert Radiohead somehow.

Genre may have been a helpful categorization. All of your list are ‘greats’, but don’t find myself coming back to them over and over. I love me some Stevie though.
