How arrogant prayer becomes when we imagine that we can make God move where he is already moving! God is always working! He is always moving! He is always acting…everywhere…all the time. Since He is infinitely outside of our capacity to understand and encapsulate, we would never be able to see all of the things he is always doing.
Prayer is the action which makes us recognize those things which are always happening. 
When Tonya and I purchased our Xterra, it seemed as though there were Xterras everywhere we went. Truth is, Xterras had been on the roads long before we purchased ours, but we suddenly recognized them all.
God has always been at work. He is always at work. The more we pray, the more we recognize those movements of God, which are always happening.

God has challenged me to pray only what He has guided me to pray. Faith comes real easy when He guides us in our praying because we know it is His idea. I don’t know why I thought I knew what to pray.
